Past, Present, Future – A Campaign for Sustainability!

This is an exciting time for the Lyme Historians!  We did it!  Thanks to so many of you the funds were raised to purchase the historic house of Judge Churchill on the Lyme Common, opening in November 2016.  Last fall we were given the Chesley Schoolhouse, a one-room school house that has been preserved in its original state.  Now we need to raise funds toward building the Ramsden Family Sustainability Fund to help maintain these lovely properties, our collections, and future events of the Lyme Historians. Our goal is $300,000 and we hope you can join us in reaching it.  We appreciate the generosity of Lyme citizens, former Lyme residents, and history lovers in supporting the Historians and believe once the goal is reached, our campaigning days are done.

The Lyme Historians (a registered 501(c)(3) organization) welcomes your tax-deductible contributions.

Our new space should greatly enhance our mission of preserving and exhibiting Lyme’s history as well as bringing it to life through programs for all ages.  We are grateful to all who have contributed in the past and hope you will help as we enter this exciting new phase.
